I love R, and tidyverse is fantastic (to the point where you could say that I really love tidyverse and tolerate R). But why is this being upvoted/ posted here? Is there something new, or is it just new to some folks?
The inconsistent and self incompatible licensing of tidyverse has stopped my company releasing source code to R things a couple of times.
I see they're working on getting everything to MIT, but at least for now...
(I say this as both one of my company's strongest proponents of open sourcing our work, and as the person who reviews the license on things before we release the source)
