Will superconductors ever have an application in commoditized electronics? Or, will they always require specialized cooling equipment? Could such specialized cooling ever be commoditized/miniaturized?

Same questions apply for QC's, which seem to depend on near 0K temperatures to function.

The hunt for room temperature superconductors has been going on for decades with quite a few notable achievements towards those ends. Even once we discover such a material it will take a long time before it is cheap enough for mass adoption in consumer goods as supply chains move at glacial speeds.
Yup but it will be immediately useful in applications like MRIs
