I posted a similar article at https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27883550 but it was flagged as misinformation. The flagger quoted this article which seems to makes the same statement.

The evidence is not good yet. There are many studies without a control group or were the control group is just an unrelated bunch of people. And most of the randomized controlled studies have a very small amount of participants, where there is easy to get flukes. Then reporting and publication bias filter them, so only the ones that got a good result are counted, and the other are ignored.
If they want to sue someone, they should sue the medical doctors that are making crappy studies instead of good large double blind randomized controlled trials.
