This stood out to me as a key quote in the article. When Woz tells the Apple II story he talks about building the computer from off the shelf parts & minimizing custom hardware. He also talks about expansion ports.

Sorry Steve, since you grew up and made a billion dollars chips are now at atomic size.

You cant fix anything at the level of an atom. So go play with your little TV tubes.

And while that may sound heretical, dude wake up, and get over your 1970s platitudes.
