I've been using TweetDeck for years now. It's one of my favorite ever products.
I'm pissed that they've ignored feature requests for years now and they decide to do this. To completely miss the point and reduce the information density of a product that thrives on density.
I'm just hoping the Better TweetDeck Chrome extension and Tweeten still work.

I've already braced myself for TweetDeck becoming a paid service. But this is much worse.
