I mean honestly. There was no meat in this article whatsoever.

That will be true if the number of startups will not stop at two as today.
Google buys Start-Ups all the time, since many years. Why should they stop now? Why should acquiring Start-Ups now be any different for them then a year ago or two?

Also they can't buy everything at once, so of course some of the features they would've liked to integrate earlier must come later now because the buying process took some time or there was no Start-Up about that topic, when they actually wanted to buy one.

This just in: Google likes to hire smart, motivated people
Im curious, --- SO does this mean the startups were a success? Is "acquired-to-be-hired" mean everything worked out? It seems like all of the energy exerted in these startups really didnt amount to much (great guys btw--> Frid.ge and JustScooped). except for getting hired.
