I cannot count the number of times I’ve encountered a scenario where I know I wrote some code that would be helpful recently but I have no clue where on my hard drive it is! This looks like what I’ve been needing!

What is the difference between this and a file called pieces.txt that you can save and grep? I file is more useful because it can be in its own repo and used on any system.
Flagging because this is just advertising for UltraEdit.

The app doesn't exist, the CTA is a Typeform link.

The site says that UltraEdit is the first app that is supported. UltraEdit is a 99$/year subscription.

This is just advertising for UltraEdit. There is no actual product.

No to mention that managing snippets is practically a base feature of any recent editor.

Hi there! Co-founder at Pieces here. We’re a real product and free :) We’re just launching and would love you all to test and give us feedback. It’s 100% free.

To your point, there will be an integration with UltraEdit as well as many other IDEs that will allow you to save snippets to Pieces without leaving your IDE, but those are free too.

Hope that helps..
