i can respect it but i still won’t buy one. GPD XD/ lots of similar devices out there that do so so so much more.

I don’t need a battery crank

What made you think it was a battery crank?
It's pretty clear from the design and marketing that what they are producing is not supposed to be a versatile device, or the best device for any task, or the most state of the art device. It has well defined artificial limits in terms of its hardware performance, and is attempting to create a charming ecosystem of well designed games that work well within them.

It's the same sort of thing which keeps people coming back to developing for older hardware and vintage systems, with the convenience of being significantly more modern.

In a way, that's basically the Nintendo model which as we can see, works well with pretty underpowered hardware.
Is it even fair to call it "underpowered" when the aims are achieved so well?
My use of "underpowered" wasn't meant to convey that being underpowered is something negative. Even with a disadvantage with hardware power, you can still achieve state-of-the-art-or-better gameplay despite (or perhaps because of) such limitations.
It’s an input control, not a battery crank.
How is this $179? That’s $180 for a non-color screen and what? A crank? You obviously have to be a crank to buy this. What a laugh.
