I like Ubiquiti for tinkering around at home but the number of issues with hardware and software that constantly creep up has pushed me away from enterprise. A lot of users on reddit have a similar sentiment that Ubiquiti has an identity crises and because of it they're trying too many things and being really successful at few.
Because i'm curious i'll give this a shot to tinker but I'd highly recommend against any substantive deployments for a while.
Agreed. They nailed CC-TV though and for a while it looked like another failed product like their VOIP solution. Curious to see where this goes. I agree this will most likely be more successful in an SMB environment. Especially since the leak they had I doubt large enterprises will trust them with security.
