I highly disagree with the article because the model animal used in research is highly dependent on the question being asked (which isn’t mentioned directly at all). Author takes a competition approach - “we’ll lose out on all the sweet monkey data!” IMO, in neuroscience the tools are advanced enough (without using primates), it’s our institutional structure and our languages that can’t cope.
