Same. In this case, Kotick, in his statement, publicly promised the conversations would be confidential, retaliation would not be allowed and managers impeding the investigation would be fired.
Note that doesn’t necessarily mean I think employees should talk to the investigators.
I can't tell if things are really that bad at Blizzard, or if the people working there are just hyper sensitive and looking for ways to put the activist in Activision. It'd be interesting to know what percentage of the employees participated.
Seems like the default assumption would be that the employer is that bad. I can't think of any reason why an employer like Activision would somehow have a concentration of overly sensitive employees.
