The subtitle says a lot about the neglect in the US immigration system today. This has spurred the growth of a new industry which offers to help skilled workers move to Canada.

"Temporary" workers tend to turn into permanent immigrants, and we should stop pretending otherwise. Either grant permanent resident status at the start, or forbid entry entirely, instead of this "guest worker" farce that always turns to emotional blackmail to let them stay, as if no-one could predict they'd start families.
