If you Google “what time zone is CET”, Google displays the time for CEST

nope, shows me CET(tried from Germany)

I think this is a reasonable default — most people Googling this aren't savvy to the difference between CET and CEST and just want to know what the current time is in a-la Brussels. It is misleading though in the sense that it says that it's showing you CET, but the time value is actually for CEST.
