The numeric colour palettes in modern web frameworks explained (n8d.at)

The thing is that variants of the exact same color can make your design look pretty bland sometimes. In this way I can see where microsoft is coming from with their different hues of blue, even though the naming is obviously terrible.

I created tailwind.ink for creating color families that can be interchanged as long as they gave the same numeric label. Interesting article :)
