Any other sites like Hacker News?

Hackernews is great for publishing an URL. Does anyone know comparable sites that aim to do the same? I really mean just publishing an URL, not the whole article, like for example can be done in Medium. I am particularly interested in French and European alternatives. Thank you in advance!
