Is it just me, or is there a whiff of "$company recommends buying even more of their product to protect against $thing that their product is designed to protect against" ?
If this were an antivirus vendor recommending you buy a second (third?) subscription to protect your PC, I think we'd be cancelling our subscriptions en masse...
Mixed boosters are the way to go, not another of the same. If you had an mRNA, the data showed an AZ booster jab would be a good idea for delta/+, gamma, lambda.
The real elephant in the room is durability. One study says 6% reduction every 8 weeks. If this is true, then the 95% effective number could drop to 62% after one year for an average efficacy of 78% over a 12 month period..

There are zero repercussions for the company if they make the wrong call here, so they are practically forced to do it.
