The article's details are scarce. But if this contains technical information, please pretty please post a torrent regardless of whether you're paid ransom. Sincerely, those of us concerned about the future of personal computing.
Alas, that would damage the ransomers' credibility. To the degree victims believe they can walk away without further repercussions after the transaction, the more they're willing to pay in ransom. Leaking victims' data means less money in the ransomers' pockets.
It doesn't sound like the data has been exfiltrated, it just sounds like basic ransomware (encrypted on Gigabyte's computers). In fact, in the message, the hackers are asking the victims to send them any encrypted file, not sure why.
If it has been exfiltrated, I wonder if it contains info about Intel's Management Engine (ME) and AMD's Platform Security Processor (PSP).
How really bad. And what do they say in the police about that? Actually it would be better in addition to overall IT security and firewalls, of couse, to use an article about how to claim surfshark free trial https://vpncoffee.com/surfshark-free-trial/ and to learn when and how to use VPN. I think for such data inputs it's essential as it will be an extra chance for additional internet security and your data privacy.

Including some evidence that some data was exfiltrated.
