It's usually a bit of work to go from LLC to C-Corp, i've never heard of C-Corp to LLC. What's the logic for this move? What's driving the requirement? There will likely be serious tax implications, so you you should really reach out to a Delaware lawyer and Accountant.
Only one I’ve heard of is Google Inc. switching to Google LLC after Alphabet was founded.
Without further information informed answers and suggestions cannot be provided.
Delaware c corp is impervious to federal snooping.
What benefits are you expecting from the LLC that the C-Corp does not give you? Do you qualify to make an S-Corp election? An LLC can be taxed as a sole-proprietorship if there is only one owner, also called a single-member LLC. If there is more than one owner, a multi-member LLC, partnership taxation as a general partnership is the default. The multi-member LLC may elect to be taxed as a C-corp or as an S-corp. So, the question. What are you trying to achieve?
I meant to say is it hard to switch an Deleware LLC to a Deleware C-corp ? I had it reversed. Apologies guys. Reason for the change is because I want to start boot strapped and then eventually raise money but I dont think I am going to raise money for at least a year maybe 1 1/2 years.
So you will be the only LLC member for now?
