Nobody really cares about his 30 year old currency trades. What people care about is his promotion of liberalism and multiculturalism. People like me put that in his 'plus' column, but to many others, it's negative to such an extent that only his having been possessed by demons can explain it.

A ycombinator funded ceo once told me that Soros was the reason his bad me-too rip-off of A Nord product failed because he had smack talked Soros online. Now the same founder has gone full-on Qanon and has been forcibly hospitalized several times due to schizophrenia.
Soros is basically the Mexican day laboror of Europe in how ultra right wing politicians blame him for all of their problems. Especially Orban in Hungary.
