Ask HN: Interoperable Covid Pass Verifier

Now that various jurisdictions around the world have their own versions of covid passes, is there a platform that can verify more than one of them?

The types I’m currently aware of that have significant adoption are:

EU Covid pass (digital green certificate) NHS (UK) vaccination certificate SMART health cards (US various) Excelsior pass (NY)

There are probably others.

Most seem to be QR codes with signatures over various claims. I don’t see why a single app couldn’t verify all of them if the public key registries are public.

If such a platform doesn’t yet exist, is anyone working on one? It sounds like the Linux Foundation Public Health people are investigating things from a policy perspective.
