Surprised to see that none in the top 10 are in the Americas. Europe has a fair contribution, or specifically Poland and Germany.

The Polish government always had a thing for people in funny hats. Miners are treated like royalty there. Poland just loves when people sacrifice themselves for no good reason at all, and the more suffering it brings the better. Miners are portrayed as national heroes everywhere from elementary books to evening news. You can't touch them. And the whole country is scared of clean energy because of Chernobyl. So they proceed to kill millions silently. They also talk shit about Russia all day and then end up getting the worst deal for Russian gas that they are totally dependent on.
China runs unscrubbed power plants. Work on that first.
Needs to be relative to megawatts prodoced, not to "power plant count".

Some plants are tiny, others huge.
