Tell HN: Stripe shut down my account no explanation too
11 days ago, @buf posted about Stripe closing down their account without notice or explanation (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28085706).
Yesterday, it happened to me too.
Like @buf, a big chunk of my business I've been running for the past five years depends on payments through Stripe.
Their support have been giving me canned answers, and the form they've sent me to fill in to appeal the system is sending me to a broken page.
I'm utterly devastated. With no one to turn to, I've emailed edwin@stripe like buf did - but no answer just yet.
Just a heads up to fellow business owners. At a complete loss.
