This should be a boon for the GOA, which has a much better track record of actually supporting what they purport to support.

GOA is no replacement for the NRA. To date, anyway, they're a political/lawfare organization. The NRA is much more than that, supporting local ranges, the shooting sports, actual [safety] training programs, and affiliated local clubs/organizations. GOA is no replacement and has never expressed a desire to be. The NRA needs to be cleaned up/out, but we all lose significantly if they're shut down.

Immaterial. Even if true, the only thing under consideration here is the NRA's corruption.

Beyond that, ethically, one entity's corruption doesn't justify some other entity's corruption.
