Is that supposed to be clever? I was making the point that our "survival of the fittest" narrative is the result of a specific social and economic system, not an inherent part of life. The distinction between "taking" in a negotiation and "creating" within a negotiated labor contract is trivial.
It's something to be negotiated between interested parties (employer, employee), although I don't see how anyone but 10% percenters could and should get any concessions.
