What's a simple/fast stack for quick prototyping in 2021?

Hi friends, I'm hitting a mental roadblock which prevents me from progressing with my mvp idea. It's been a while since I've done anything full stack so I'm quite dated on the latest stack

This is my current situation: * I've done backend dev in TS/JS using Nestjs (and other older framework), python (django) * I've done frontend in 2016 w/ React Redux. * my AWS/terraform/IoC skills is pretty bad

I'm evaluating the latest stack but I am quite confused: * TS/JS frontend frameworks -- there's nextjs, react (hooks n stuff), svelve, vue, these are new to me and i don't know which one to pick * TS/JS backend frameworks -- i've done work with Nestjs but there's a lot of boilerplate to write. Are there anything w/ batteries included like Django? * Graphql vs rest -- is there any benefits to learn graphql vs plain old REST that's handled by framework? * platform -- i tried learning AWS w/ terraform, CDK, pulumi.... i ended up racked up $$$ and got confused with all that VPS, fargate, docker, multi account stuff... and apps barely worked

I just want a simple stack so i can write some JS and backend, deploy it and test out my ideas. What's a simple stack you'd recommend? *
