What kind of phone was it?
The Verge reported it was a Samsung A21.
My wife and kids were on this flight and I had the surreal experience of watching the evacuation from the side of the freeway as I waited for the text to come pick them up at baggage claim.

Seems like the author had fun writing this one.

Crazy idea: what if phone manufacturers stopped releasing 10 new phones every year each with crappy hardware and creepy firmware? What if instead they took time to release a decent, quality phone with standard specs, easy maintenance and widely-available spare parts?

Oh yes, they'd make way less profits.
