Show HN: Build This Simple Wire-Twisting Tool
When soldering 0.1" ribbon cables, e.g. for a guitar pedal, the wires get frayed and you can't simply twist them to straighten them out because they're so close together. So I invented this simple wire-twister based on a shish kebab stick!
It only takes 5 minutes. You drill a skinny hole, e.g. 0.6mm in one end, then use a countersink to make a cone around the hole. Then you can twist individual wires and they fit right into PCBs!
