It's official now, I do have to go exploring on Bandcamp much more. It's unquestionably one of the greatest sites in today's Internet, in several respects.
If you visit the site on desktop you are greeted with a retro-style windows desktop with multiple icons to double click with various pieces of content. Some samples include "My Videos", "Buddy List" (with the AOL instant messenger icon), "Racer Trash Movies", and "Woke cat". Double clicking on the recycle bin icon labeled "Racer Trash" brings up this "About" page with the following text:

The best way to think about a site like this is as art.
It may not be a style of art you like or have an aesthetic that you prefer or even be that technically difficult. But it is art designed to engage people.
If it doesn’t engage you, nothing wrong with that. Not all art speaks to all people.
