Bitwig is a fantastically fun program, and it absolutely scratches my music-making urge from time to time.
But it's not a very productive program. Despite it's feature-richness and insane extensibility, the workflow it provides is somehow more grating for me than other programs like Ableton Live or FL Studio. All of the technical cruft that went into making it slowly caught up with it, like writing the entire thing in Java or having an inflexible UI toolkit.
So, I don't really know if this is a universal truth. Fun tools are fun, but not necessarily superior.
We’re seeing this issue switching our designs from Sketch to Figma. Figma is more “fun” to use because it’s collaborative, but our designs files are so big they are causing issues with in browser ram limitations. Same issue with the offline Figma app, unfortunately
