Ask HN: Which car(s) offer best access to its sensor data?

OBD dongles allow access to some data (rpm, pedal status, gas tank level, etc.) Other manufacturers go further (e.g. Ford's AppLink).

Which car/model would you recommend if API richness is an important element of the buying decision? Thx.
