I don't mean for this to be a loaded question, but isn't it obvious that launching rockets into space over and over again probably isn't good the environment on so many fronts?
Usually the animals and the rockets co exist quite well. Rocket launches are relatively rare and most of the time the wildlife is left in peace. Even when the rocket launches it's just a brief moment of noise, other than that it's a lot of open space free of humans. For example there is great wildlife around Kennedy space center.
The complaint that they close the access roads too often seems bizarre to me coming from an environmental group. It would seem to be better for the animals if access is closed more often, not less.
I'm not advocating ignoring pollution, etc, but is this a joke? I don't know if anyone has been down to the Texas Gulf Coast in the last few decades but it is not pristine by any measure. The oil and gas industry along with every kind of chemical plant you can imagine and add to that all the different oil spills and rigs operating in the Gulf of Mexico and ship traffic, should make anything SpaceX does using Liquid Oxygen and RP1 (a cleaner kerosene if there is such a thing) the least of everyone's worries.
