Ridiculous. Stating a political opinion on your personal social network account shouldn’t cause you to lose your job.
It should be if it's hateful towards 50%+ of the country's population.
Let’s not abuse words.

Here is the tweet:

> Proud of #USSupremeCourt affirming the Texas law banning abortion for babies with a heartbeat. As an entertainer I don’t get political often. Yet with so many vocal peers on the other side of this issue, I felt it was important to go on the record as a pro-life game developer.

Where is the hate?

It's hateful to a political party, not a sex. Claims that it's hateful to women are a lie. There are women in my family who are rooting for Texas.

I hope the former Tripwire CEO finds a workplace that better suits him. There are a lot of game companies in Texas.

Stating a political preference is not hateful to anyone. Let’s not lessen the meaning of the word “hate.”
The hate is towards the women who used to have a choice, and now, thanks to an ignorant, under-educated minority, do not have that choice.
If only there was a way those women could make a choice to avoid getting pregnant...
yes, by putting an aspirin between their legs!

Orrrr.... men could start wearing condoms, and stop raping. Are those options, too?

Without exceptions for rape/incest that argument is pretty weak.
I've seen people get fired for a lot less than pissing off literally half of the customers.
They make ultra violent gratuitous video games. Not to be too gendered, but I don’t think women make up half of their user base.

(Also, not all women are pro-choice.)

It’s Mozilla all over again.
I love how the people in this comment section pretend to be educated. I hope you all die, but luckily I don't need to hope...

Natural Selection will kill you first; I mean, how can you survive when you so desperately need a safe space.

For the record, this statement was hateful!

Conflicted as I want to downvote you for not contributing to the conversation, but want to upvote you for finally using “hateful” correctly…

I assume that was the sarcastic point you were making?

It was sarcasm, but I genuinely meant that natural selection will take these morons out. I was agreeing with you, and making a point.
