Ask HN: Feedback on a product comparison tool mockup

I spend a lot of time comparing similar products and reading reviews. The trouble for me is that Google is full of listicles that I can’t trust, and Amazon reviews aren’t reliable, so I usually search Reddit for product recommendations.

To save time, I’m thinking of building a product comparison tool that will scrape reddit and recommend the top products / most mentioned products in a given category. Here’s a quick mockup: https://imgur.com/a/pY2G279

What do you think - useful? Not trustworthy? Any recommendations for how else I can find products without spending too much time?
