Now we really need some tech to distort me on all camera images. Like some powerful NearIR LED jacket or something. I hope stuff like this will never found its way into the mainstream.
It will. Times and attitudes have changed since Google's Glassholes.

There's going to be resistance from folks putting high intensity LEDs, triggered by Ray-Ban recognizing camera's, bit it'll be shortlived and a very tiny minority.

I don't like it, but that's my expectation.

Why the hell are people fine with ubiquitous cameras in public yet when a camera is on a person they lose their goddamned minds?
Who says we’re fine with ubiquitous cameras? I certainly am not fine with it.
Oh yeah, and Zuckerberg. What could possibly go wrong?
I won't be around someone with these on. I'm going to ask them to shut them off or leave.
I mean tons of people say stuff like this but is it actually true?

It's incredible how almost everyone just looks the other way, even when people's lives are in danger.

I certainly wouldn't go up to random dude in a bar and tell him to turn his glasses off, would you?

How is this different than people having their smartphones out?

I dislike it too, but I don't think I'd actually ostracize anyone for it. Maybe I'd refuse to interact in particular ways (deeper campfire conversations).

someone having their smartphone out looks markedly different from someone using their smartphone to make photos or videos, just by the fact that they need to aim it.
