A friend just showed me the rich library for Python[1] which is awesome btw. But I saw that they were using Tidelift and was wondering if anyone had experience with it sounds like a great idea.

Getting paid to develop open source. What’s not to like? Great in theory, but projects will only generate income if they are a dependency of the subscribers.
