dc is interesting and genius, but as someone who has written a dc implementation [1], it is still very limited, though the extensions in my implementation make it easier to use.
However, as the video said, it is Turing Complete [2], and you can do pretty wild things with it [3].
For me, the draw is that it is a desktop-based version of something close to my favorite calculator, the HP 48G.
