I would like to nominate this research for an Ignoble Prize.
Even for dairy cows this seems like a lot of work
Perhaps they can learn the behavior from other cows or at least make it easier and if it sticks dairy cows live around 20 years so if there are incentives to train them (fees for run off maybe or just direct benefits to the operator) it could really be worth it.

I would think that the main selling point, besides clean-up issues, is to break some kind of parasite cycle.

Or, you know, decrease animal agriculture
