NordVPN used to out of the 5-eyes jurisdiction but over the years once they started advertising in the US (heavily I might add)...pretty sure the US gov can peak into whatever goes across their network now. Otherwise they'd be blacklist as some "hacker" tool
I stopped using them and found one that is lesser known.
I believe NordVPN has a no-log policy, but legally that's analogous to giving your post to a man who says "I'll take it to the Post Office for you!" then assuming he won't read it. I know HTTPS makes it a lot harder to snoop, but metadata is valuable.
