Ubiquiti releases beta Unifi firmware that no longer requires Cloud/SSO access

It's a beta firmware, so you need to log in to download it, but Unifi just releases a beta OS upgrade for the UDM and UDMP/SE that no longer requires SSO / Cloud access for the machines.

Chalk this up as a win for Ubiquiti customers.

It's a beta firmware - you need to have a community account with "Early Access" feature turned on in order to see the release thread or be able to purchase early access hardware.
This is a step in the right direction but it's ridiculous that these devices (UDM, UDM Pro) STILL cannot log allows and denies of traffic in the firewall.
