Hmmm the customizer hardcodes certain selections. It's not possible to get no dedicated gpu if you want more than 8G ram and 256G harddrive.

The laptop mentioned has the 8-core cpu which comes with nvidia geforce rtx 3060.

So they just disabled the dgpu in the bios? Not explicitly mentioned.

No, you are probably looking at a different SKU. Finding a high end laptop with just the igpu is like finding a diamond in the rough. That's probably what this post is about. Dell used to allow buying some precision laptops with Xeon W, ECC, 4k display, and no NVIDIA. But they keep changing their SKUs around, and their website is an abomination.

I've been re-evaluating Dell as a laptop brand in the last years.

I've been given a Latitude 7390 at work and it's simply GLOURIOUS.

Had it had the trackpoint too I'd have jumped ship from my ThinkPad.
