It's telling that the problem is called "too many white dudes" and not "too few women" or "too few people of color". Why try to create a solution that helps people when you can just gain woke points by pointing out a demon?
I think this guy is full of shit because of the following:

> If you took the median white person in America and lined up their life experiences next to the median black person in America, I’m confident you’ll find out they see and experience two different Americas.

I'm white, but when my parents talked to me about police, they said: "Don't run from the police. Don't try to fight the police. Don't fuck with the police or their dogs. Don't say anything to them unless you must. Say 'Yes, officer', 'No, officer', 'I do not consent to a search, officer', and 'I won't answer questions without a lawyer, officer'."

George Stocker might have grown up in a middle-class white family, but my white family was working poor, and Johnny Law was no friend of ours.

Is it the purpose of the .NET foundation to "reflect society", or to make and maintain good software?

Skin color is as poor a metric for diversity of viewpoint as it is for ability to create or maintain software. Or write documentation. or communicate with users. or any of the other things this outfit might actually do, assuming they intend to continue doing anything.

It boggles my mind that an article like this is acceptable when it basically advocates for racism. Take a moment and think if there was an article about how there were too many black people in the NBA (74%) or NFL (67%) or too many women in nursing (91%) or Asians are making too much money (median income $78,500, top median income in the US) and as such there needed to actively be decisions made to exclude them solely on that characteristic.
