Ask HN: Interested in a freelancer peer review service?

1 points by adyus ↗ HN
Here's an idea I had, and I wanted to run it by HN: if somebody hires a freelancer for a web devel job, how do they know if the work delivered is any good? Sure it works, but what if it has non-obvious security holes or is completely unmanageable later?

Well, you could pay a couple other freelancers for an hour or two to go review the delivered code, then score it on different topics such as readability of code, security precautions (i.e. are user inputs sanitized before entering into DB?) and more.

Reviewer reputation could be proven by hooking into their Github and/or Stack Overflow accounts as proof of community validation.

Could this idea find traction?
