Will the rest of the world embrace the internet model of China with time?

I see some worrying signs of things going toward the internet isolation. Some countries embrace the model of China. Russia is one step from testing the "Deep packet inspection". Google filters the results per region, which is not a big deal, but could be really annoying sometimes. And some countries take advantage of COVID to streighten the control over the people, like Australia. What are your thoughs?
