I was thinking about this since last 3-4 days and yesterday I come to this same conclusion.I was surfing twitch and yt streams last week to explore more in rust/go, but most or all of them starts from somewhere between and then it makes me miss the whole background and context and its a waste of time watching someone type and talk and read comments for 6-7 hrs streams... then finally I quit this approach and its much better to read source code and articles
Sometimes you see somebody start out with what looks like a cool project and they explain it pretty well at first but they go for a while, it gets boring, they start to apologize for what they do wrong (never do that... when i am explaining something I do I feel pressured to go back and do it right!)

Video is not a great format for projects of any real complexity. You could make a good 10 minute video where you do something small with create-react-app but it's going to take strong planning and editing for it to be worth watching.
