Rowing is great, but I don't have a rower. So my version of this is "the biggest health mistake I make in a day is not (bicycle) riding". Bike riding is my outlet for getting exercise in, and I have been working on ramping up my activity levels the past few months. There have been some bumps in the road due to health issues, injuries, weather, and what-not, but I'm committed to getting back to a place where I ride at least 40 miles a week between road biking and mountain biking. I'm also going to start adding in a couple of miles of trail running, probably starting this week.
As they say... getting older pretty much inevitably means slowing down and losing some physical vitality, but exercise seems to be right near the top of the list in terms of ways to help combat that and at least slow the decline. And as somebody who just turned 48, I definitely need all the help I can get in that regard.

Is there any reason to believe this?
