Anyone know how Google's reverse image search stacks up to TinEye or other services? Better coverage or more relevant results?
The moral is, don't reuse avatars.
...unless you want the accounts you use the same avatar on to be "linked".

Sometimes you do (when you're looking for publicity or make a name for yourself).

IMO the real moral is any information that is repeated on the public web can be linked.

The fact that images are used here is pretty much irrelevant, the same process holds true for reusing the same textual name or 'handle' or even reusing the same set of small bits of information of sufficient uniqueness to "fingerprint" you (say, 'list of favorite movies plus zip code' or whatever).

I'm pretty sure you've already been made online! It's scary what they can find online.
