There seems to be a giant elephant in the room with this analysis. Where is the cost of manufacturing the extra car? 10 people can ride in the same rideshare car in one day, but they would each need their own vehicle if they didn't do that.
And in reverse you can't assume that they don't own a car just because they use rideshare services. Would be indeed interesting to know how much availability of rideshare services reduces car ownership.
