Ask HN: When do enterprise plans usually begin?

I have created a SaaS product and secured a large enterprise. I'm a "preferred vendor" and did the whole procurement nightmare and now I wait for payment (net 60).

Do most SaaS companies begin onboarding at this stage? Waiting up to 60 days for payment before onboarding seems like torture for the actual buyer.
