Bureau of Land Management website has been down for a day (blm.gov)

I made an archive of the site as it currently is https://archive.is/97NXJ

2 days ago I noticed the site loading slow, and eventually an error message started popping up

> Sorry for the inconvenience but this website is currently undergoing maintenance and will be hopefully back online shortly.

I don't think this was announced/planned. I'm curious what caused it.
