Ask HN: Great Equations Editor

Hi Hacker News,

I’m looking for a tool that will allow me to import some calculus or physics equations, re-arrange/edit them _following some rules_. I know people did work for editing expressions (like lisp) while maintaining correctness. Is there such a thing for general math equations or expressions (some domains)?

I believe one should exist.
